Well 2 weekends ago me and mike flew down to wellington stayed a nite with Plod(cheers bro). We picked up a n12 exa turbo with 88,000kms on the clock. Nz new as well. The turbo was seezed and was plumed out of the system. So me and mike had a fiddle. Aparently was lurching and missing, wriggled a few plugs and got it going enuff to drive back to aux less a turbo. So here are some pics.

Image
Thats Plods black N13.

You'ld think a turbo n12 with out a working turbo would be slow. Some how Photoglossy(mike) managed to get pulled up for speeding.
Image
Caught doing 112kms an hour.

Image
Coming through taupo we saw a lil red n12. Pulled up behind it and some dude was out in a shot to say hello.

New look: (5-06-2010)

So yeah thats about it. Totaly standard atm. Will keep it lyk that for my wife to drive for a while.
Here is a origianl engine bay pic:

This is wat its lyk now: (5-06-2010)

That's a neat looking EXA! The nudge bar gives it a personal touch, nice!

BTW, what was the speed limit in the area Mike got a speeding ticket? :P

It was only one weekend ago bro. One week tomorrow in fact. You must have just had a slow week that felt like 2 weeks :P

Lucky for N12 speedo errors... speedo was saying i was going 120

Age for got to say... Its NZ New, has 88k's on it and is a 50th anniversary model. Factory Pulsar hubcaps all round. Had an immaculate '84 turbo spec interior in it, which has now been replaced by an immaculate 85 turbo spec one.
And we re turbo'd it 2 nights ago so that whole dummy N/A setup it toast.

Oh... and another thing we gotta do is to get a new bumper indicator/ parker in... as you can see there are 2 different types at the moment. One aussie spec (1/2 and 1/2) and one full amber jap one.

Hehe, I saw that but didn't want to start nitpicking about it... that wouldn't have been very friendly. A project car is a project car.
