Sams b11 Pulsar Panel Van Project
Howdy guys and possibly girls if theres any? Im sort of new, been viewing the forum on and off for a year or more now and finally decided to post! Anyway heres abit bout me and my machine.
Name: Sam
Location: Port Macquarie, NSW
Year/ Model: 1983 vb11/b11 Pulsar Panel Van
Colour: Sandy Yellow
Period of ownership: since 04
Engine Mods: currently running e15 engine and redone the exhaust system from front muffler back and added a cannon
Interior Mods: all panels and door trims re-trimed with black vinyl, underfelt layed through out the whole car, added my own sound system and stuff and threw in a 3" tacho
Exterior Mods: Fitted a front bumper off an n13 astra and put 1.5" lowering blocks on the back leafs.
Wheels: Old school 14" delta monarchs
Future Plans: CA18DET conversion! Nice set of 16"s, new paint job (colour undecided), new back bumper to match the front and rebuilt dash. Glenns CA18DET n12 he use to have inspired me and i was planning to go with the e15et conversion, but another guy already done it down in tazzy so i thought id go for the next size up!
Pics: my van a few months ago
Front end, could use some more styling
Borrowed some 16's off a mate yesty too see if they would fit and how they look and its great to have your own car ramp
My dad has a van as well
The engine bay
stock e15 i droped in bout 10 months ago
interior shot
This will be my project and hopefully it will be under way soon, once i know exactly what i need and when i can source a ca18det engine, gearbox, etc...

But yeh might need abit of help in relation of getting it to fit and run properly once i source all the parts i need
I like the way the front came out too, except i would have had to trim back the sides of the bar but then it wouldnt have molded to neat to the front wheel arch, so i just made the bar sit out further and adjusted the grill to fill up alot of the gap between the lights and the bar, but the stupid thing still doesnt mold to the guards properly so might just use it as a mould and get one fiberglassed that will fit nice and neat. And il get a another pic from the front at a low.photoglossy wrote:That front seems to work really well! Any more shots of it from a lowed angle?
Wicked car mate. Keep it sleeper eh!

Thanks mate, kid nismo wrote:your front end looks mean samwdg.
hmmm....do you think your b11 head lights and grill will fit the n12 pulsar?
wouldnt mine having them lights and grill fitted to my front end
and they should fit cause the whole front end shell and engine bay is the same as the n12, except the van has different front guards, bonnet, bumper, lights ans grill. Only prob might be that you might left with a few gaps on the end of each guard at the front where on the n12's you would normally have blinkers, but the b11 vans dont.
The lights and grill are also vertical on the vans and on the n12 there on abit of a taper too, but i dont see why you could make it fit, i had n12 lights and grill on there at one stage but didnt look as good lol.
thanks dude and i like ya idea of the exa ute, looks pretty sweet!Ash wrote:welcome to the forum samwdg. it will be good to see this little beasty done with a CA18DET innit. will be a sleeper and a half!!
