what does 'custom' mean ? you paid someone do every job ?
think I answered my own question.

good luck with it all, just tell the boys to fix up the cooler end tank, thats disastrous.
gen y performance wrote:Yeah custom means not of the shelf, we engineered most things from scratch and then got some one to fabricate it for use, but yeah as you can see some of the fabrications are a bit average,
nice job keeping your cool there gen y performance! i probably would of popped a vein personally.

finally :)

Post by gen y performance »

ok so i finally found a body kit thats different to the canberra stylin kit. infact its freaken sick only two of them in the world, its hand made, one is already being used and the other is being sent to my spray painter to fit on to my car before it gets painted, i really wanted a group c gibson ripoff but i think this kit suits the lines of the exa better,

here is the pic of the body kit i'm getting.

I should have the body kit by wednesday and have the car finished in the paint shop 2 weeks after that :)

body kit

Post by gen y performance »

its not made in a shop a guy made to kits and he's not useing the second one so he sold it to me i paid $1800 for the kit a little exy but considering theres not much othere option except getting a shop to make me one from scratch wich would cost alot more. its not so bad. i can find out if the guy still has the moulds and weather he's keen to produce some more but if he does and will, you can expect to pay more the 1800 for it, ie labour costs and shipping,

you could consider taking moulds of yours and making some kits....there may be a few willing to put money aside for those flairs or front spoiler.....

i'd be keen, as would a few others im sure. But there probably wouldn't be a big enough market to produce more than 3 or 4...

What does the rear look like?

on a race car you don't want a big rear bumper to catch air and slow the car down - the std n12 one would suit it nicely, infact you'd probably want to chop it away a bit more even...
i doubt this kit would be suitable for street use anyways as it looks like it would be very low.

best kit ive seen dude, can't wait to see it next! love the flares! :D

Rear should be driven by the size of the diffuser and keeping the weight down......
