looks very tidy on the outside altho id fark that turbo sticker on the back off.

also you need a good engine degrease, start cleaning things up and start modifying!

Oi go easy dude. Nothing wrong with a rat (hoodride) car!
There is a strong underculture of dudes that prefer the grubby "never cleaned" look!
I must admit that Im one of those LMAO!

I never get bent out of shape over a grubby engine. in fact Im pround of it LMAO

Hands down one of the cleanest exteriors ive seen. just need to get that dent in the rear pannel between the lights sorted.

Spent 10 mins dusting and shining the engine, it will look 100X better. Sure... it is the mods that count... but wouldnt you much rather an engine that goes hard AND looks good?

Good to see another nice exa dude. Stick with it . . . none of this ET bullsh!t

Well did a full service on the engine today and gave it a bit of a clean here and there. Nothing to extreme. I changed:
*Oil and Filter
*Air Filter
*Fuel Filter
*Spark Plugs & Leads
*Timing Belt & Tensioner
Total Cost of parts $120. Not to bad.....

The car mechanically is fine for its age. The Odometer Reads 262,000 but im sure the engines had a rebuild at some stage. Not sure how long its been but the engine still seems to be pretty healthy not much blow-by, doesnt blow smoke out the pipe and engine runs pretty smooth & quiet.

Now here are some of the bad bits. For a 22yo car its quite normal i would think. One shot i dont have is of the spare wheel well which had all sorts of things collecting in there holding water, so as a result there are a few more drain holes now!!!

But other than this there is not much else wrong with the car.

Some new (secondhand) wheels i picked up for $400. They are 15's with 185/55 tyres. They look a bit better than the 13's with hub-caps 8)

Now just needs to be dumped and i have my new dayly driver running sweet as.......

Ouch man... that rust doesnt look to great. Get it sorted quick before it gets out of hand.

The stuff on the door is an easy fix, just rip the rubbers off and grind it back, smooth it over then paint. THe wheel arch shouldnt be to bad either. The patch around the boot is the worst. The rear windscreen is gonna have to come out. otherwise its just a grind back job.

No worries about the seats... get some buckies :)
