13.88 @ 105.5mph
13.87 @ 105mph

third run i munched the box. came on boos in third and bang. was granny shifting and not even launching hard..... fuckin sux. i pulled it apart and 3rd gear is fucked......

noticed that the left wheel was frying off the line too. lsd is in order.....

so thats 2 boxes in 2 weeks..... did the diff in one at powercruise and the one last night.

i have to do something aye, sick of putting second hand boxes in unknown condition in, and having them fuck out.

Get hold of an N13 box and slap em together. Same as you, I busted 3 sets of 3rd/4th synchro hubs before I bit the bullet and made mine. Never looked back!

yeah i was wieghing up my options today..........

i looked into getting a brand new genuine nissan gear set (one that i know hasent been flogged by 17 yo P platers over the past 25 years), but there are none in existance any more...... only thing you can by NOS is the input shaft and cluster shaft, which total over $1400.

i heard the N13 option isnt real good for drag use coz of the ratios? spose it wont hurt to give it a go aye..........

took my diff to diff lappers today to get locked up too, should get that back by friday..........

any one else got opinions on the N13 internals idea. my main concern is the 300hp its gonna be trying to put to the ground in a few months time
