hhhmmmmmm dropping a spanner in the engine bay stressing up to the eyeballs bout scratching it, not pratcical imho.................

...............plus its a fuck load of work

what am i rambling on about any ways, am gonna smooth the verts engine bay lol

lol what kinda paint do you use??
any decent paint wont scratch that easily!

All the "decent" paints I've had used do....speis hecker, dulux..... They were put on by pro's too.

sounds like aussie export brand enamel shit

i scratched my shaved/deloomed engine bay once while working on it..
and that was when i dropped the engine in ;)
the weight of an engine will scratch any paint, but as long as you are a little careful it's not an issue...

so im picking up my bottom end parts tomorrow, need some advice on what bearings i should use................

and head gasket? has to be made to suit the 30 thou over bore, was gonna go cometic................. is there any other company localy that does custom mls head gaskets.

and studs/bolts? besides a decent set of head bolts, any benifits of getting better fly wheel, cam gear bolts etc?

power distribution block to neaten things up a bit (and to get rid of the jungle of wires and relays i had sittin in the corner of the engine bay)

the crank all ballanced up. i got it ballanced with the harmonic ballancer, flywheel and clutch assembly also.......... the main and pin journals are now .25 undersized

the block, 30 thou over bore, new jack shaft bearings

forgies attached to rods....... didnt shot peen the rods, they used another process which i cant remember at this time.

so getting real close now, just need to get all the bearings and gaskets together, figure out the multi coil ignition and then get her tuned up :D
