Thanx mate!
Do your mounts bolt into the stock positions? The ones on mine are the stock N13 mounts on the engine side, and they have re-created the recepticle on the car side.
A CA-18DET in the vert - that would make your car 100% unique! Convertible AND CA18DET..... mmmmmmmmm
Yeah, mine has the V-LSD box, not sure on the stud pattern but I think it retained the N12 4 x 114.3. I will check it out.
Will you make the cruise in April?

Yeah a couple. Plan on some nice ones once I've finished tidying it up.

So I got the new rear suspension setup in.
It's stiffer, but smoother to drive. No more bouncy rear and it doesn't squat when I stand on the go pedal.
The new springs (Kings super low) were physically 2" longer (the old ones were chopped - how dodgy ) The new shocks were very much stiffer, ittook all my wieghtto compress one, where the old ones I could compress by holding itin my hands and pushing it together. Dunno if that were the way they should be, but I think they were screwed.
So with the longer springs and stiffer shocks the car only sits 1" talleratthe back, which looks much more even with the front.
I'll do fronts next w/end, and the car should be much more rough shitty road friendly.

I bought them years ago when I first got the maroon/gold ET. And the guy I'd bought them off had them for a while too. I knew they'd come in handy one day.Ash wrote:nice work there. 1 question though, where did you get the super lows? i could only get King lows for mine! although they worked out well i still would of liked the super lows to sit a bit lower. what shocks are you using?
I'm using Pedders Comfort Gas shocks with that 2 way valve thingy in them so the soften up on rough roads and the like, but are nice and stiff normally. (had 'em sitting around for ages too)
Got some Monroe (Gas Rider I think) struts for the front.

You may be already aware of this, but apparently the go for cams is to use the NA CA16 inlet cam and retard its timing 4deg, and advance the exhaust 3deg.
The step before lumpier sticks anyway.

Heya Dude,
Nah, all this CA stuff is brand new to me, so it's a huge learning curve. So far I've learnt the stock CoP sucks ball sack.
So is that both CA16 cams, or just the inlet?

( I don't think my quick post worked)
Inlet cam only. I'm sure I have a couple of Zoom articles on getting power from CA's. I'll have to have a hunt around.
BTW, is your CA a 'hose tail' injector or an 'O' ring?
I'm sure I have heard that both were avalable. Thinking would be that the 'O' ring would be the newer of the two.

Yeah, both were available .... I have a set of both that I had planned on putting in the E15ET.
But to be honest, I've no idea what's in my car... I'll have a look after.

Thanx dude.
It's pretty right for balls ATM but no doubt I'll become accustomed to it at some point and start chasing more!
