more like something in the fuel clogging flow up. first off it was the 4th cyl with major lean out then it came good and then the 3rd cyl doing the same and it came good. i thought all was good for a while then the 1st cyl did the same thing, but enough to finally kill a piston while each of the leaning out cylinders were melting shit the other cylinders were running spot on. each spark plug i would pull from the good cylinders were near on perfect!
Karl is also right about the standard ECU, small cooler and 17psi not being smart. i know that. although i should of at least got the whole fuel system cleaned out! if it wasn't for the leaning out in selective cylinders it would be running pretty good!
so back to finding a 5 cogger for the VL/T and losing my license in it!
luckily i have a great condition spare bottom end for the ET. i might use my spare gearbox aswell, it is also in pretty good working condition!
time for a better paying job!

Chrome's tacky, IMO.... 'look at my bling'.Paul Smith wrote:Boy have times changed. When I was young, black or white wheels were ultra povo. I still can't stand them. Now they look cheap. Prefer chrome myself and will get some one day.
I reckon white's ghey, but black's pretty tough.
Anodised silver or gunmetal FTW.

which wheels? The Renegade wrote:Dibs on the wheels if you sell up!!!
i couldn't bring myself to sell the bloody thing just yet. although i should!
i will be applying for a much better paying job in the next week or so and if i get in then i will take the bloody car down to Bresciani's or Rajab or the like and get shit done right!
it's no big issue that i flogged the hell out of it and screwed it because it was having major blow by issues anyway! the damage was already done a while back. it just means i will have to drive around in a bloody Ford Telstar while i either get the VL/T back on the road or the ET?

RGV's are not the best 1st bike to get. They are very angry!
Also get it checked out - if the engine lets go you are in for some huge dollars to get it re-built.

Best get it checked by a mechanic, and when you get it don't skimp with cheap 2 stroke oil.Ash wrote:

Also keep an eye on Aprillia RS250's - more or less the same bike, a couple more HP, Digital dash, and better re-sale.
