I couldn't give a fuck what you believe.

For the sake of others, I'll reiterate that no cyclists have gotten in my way except for Critical Mass. And that's kinda the point then, and I'm totally behind it.

So anyway, maybe others who moan about cyclists breaking the law reckon there's a difference between a technically unroadworthy car and running red lights on a bike... I'm sure they never deliberately break traction or the speed limit, eh?

Cars are dangerous, therefore they demand regulation. Plus, given the big picture, you're fucken lucky you have the privilege to use one at all - it's only cause you happen to live at this point in history. One day we'll wake up to the fact that pissing all these resources against the wall needs to be heavily regulated too.
If you are going to get on that bandwagon ban buses first, they pollute more than personal transport.
You really are an idiot.
Ban cows, they pollute more than all transport.
That's nowhere near as crazy as you think. I'm in favour. Ban all hoofed animals from this patch of dirt, for that matter.

Another thread destroyed by ranting... please try to behave, folks! It's good to have opinions but is this really the place to talk about these things?

in all honesty dude these cars are shit but they have so much character, are fun and go fairly well when running right. we still play around with these things because they are a fun addictive little shitbox! :D - Ash

no yes maybe no

no, no it's not.. i agree
I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense.

I vote the mods just copy this to Off Topic, rename it and delete it from the Ride thread.

And put something like,
; )

...And maybe replace the OP of the OT copy with a link to the derailing post... heh

Yeah, never mind cyclists, what about those fucken Camry drivers?

Now there's a class of road users who deserve bricks up the arse.

I give it about 1 in 4 the next truly awful driver you notice will be (sort of) in charge of a late-model Camry (or Avalon, these days).

Camry? nah the only driver to ever nearly hit me when I wasn't on the road was a Volvo driver, I literally had to dive clear!
