Cherryturbojames Three cherry turbos from the uk 56k killer!

Post by cherryturbojames »

Name: James Clarke
Location: Weston Super Mare England
Year/ Model: 1985 Nissan Cherry Turbo E15ET X3
Colour: A Red one, blue one and silver one
Period of ownership: I have owned cherry turbos and had numerous ones over the past ten years

Performance: Red one 135 bhp Blue one 127bhp and silver one never tested

Engine Mods: Red Car: Standard T2 on standard boost , HKS air filter . 2.5 inch Stainless Steel Exhaust , Bailey piston type dump valve. Home made front mount intercooler.

Blue Car: Was originally a 1.3 and has been re shelled using all E15ET parts Ram air airfilter straight through home made mild steel exhaust raised boost gearbox from south African imported E16 Langley pictured below , seemed to have much taller gear ratios and Nissan Prairie Clutch.

Silver Car is a low mileage 33k car and is in un molested original condition

Interior Mods: Usual sound system and that’s about it , I cant fault the ET interior quite fancy a diggy dash though

Exterior Mods: Had N13 bumpers on the blue car for a while and B12 Side skirts.

Not a big lover of heavily modded Cherrys I like the fact that no one in the uk knows what it is!!!!

Wheels: Blue car had 15 inch s12 turbo wheels and my red one has 15 inch t72 bluebird executive wheels on it tried 17s on the red one once and it didn’t look right so I didn’t bother.

Silver car is on the original alloys that look like r2d2s arse.

Future Plans: Basically to keep the red one and silver one going is my only aim the blue one has to go due to lack of space , would love a T25 and some serious boost and front mount cooler for the red one!!

hey my girlfriend is into ET's. She has a white one. Got it stock but now has FMIC, t25g, boostcontroller, VL TB and 3inch exhaust. She loves thrashing it around.

She ran a 15.6 when it was stock (although was running 9/10psi boost somehow)
