Ok guys yet another update...got all the wiring harness swapped from the exa and the necessary modifications done. Everything i can test has been.
Im in the process of painting the dash as u can see by the pics.
Engine is comming out of the old exa next weekend, so i can start on that.
I'll keep u's posted as it goes on.

Wow, doing it properly, huh? Nice.

Dunno about the white interior, though; it'll be a bitch to keep clean.

You're not gonna paint the top of your dash white, are you? Thought about the reflection on your windscreen?
Or have you already started painting it that blue colour? It's a little hard to tell.

the dash is going to be black and just the instrument surround and radio surround are that pale blue i've been using....not white, its just looks white in the photo. never thought about the glare....dash mat perhaps

should look tops mate, if you find a dash mat, please let me know where from, cos i couldn't find one at all, anywhere in SA! apart from getting it customly made up.

oh the memories , i showed the missus this thread and she nearly cried .... we done the same thing about 6 years ago with our ET ... every single nut and bolt was removed and put back on ...

My spare car's got a dash mat... I don't want it cause I fixed the cracks in mine, mostly...

Righto yet another update of the pulsar....ok windscreen is in, dash is all painted and in, motor is stripped and currently getting the machine work done to it. I think is just been over a year since i started the project so im setting a goal for prolly April next year to be on the road.

i polished the the inside on the intake when i opened it up for the vl tb, so i continued to the outside...anyone know a quicker or the correct way to do it?

Gah... reckon a satin or low-sheen finish would have been the go for the dash, rather than full gloss, dude...

I'd be amazed to see anyone say that doesn't look terrible; you can't be happy with that, can you?

Motors BACK HOOT HOOT. Got the block bored, honed and decked. Mild port and polish, stronger valve springs(head rebuilt) New Ross pistons, full rebuild kit, new water pump and oil pump. Exedy soft cushion brass button clutch, full balance...mmm im sure ive missed something...Cost bout $2500 all up...Sold my house so it's off to live at work until i get time to rebuild it there...Yeah so i'll post some picks up when its rebuilt.
