Just got my ET off the dyno.

'Unverified' - no sheet that is.

105kw ATW 461Nm Torque 7PSI boost

Brakes went well.

Could rev any harder than 5800RPM because it was running LEAN like 0.88Lambda. Reason was injectors maxed out, fuel pressure didn't drop.

We wouldn't do 'power run' with a print-out because of the lean out. Will have to be next time.

Overall a good result that I am happy with for now.

Next step will be to install the fuel system I have at home, fine tune the brakes, fine tune the oil return/turbo core position. THIS time I want to keep the car running as much as possible. Its hard to tune a chassis when it sits in your garage for weeks on end!

Out.
Race it.

John Mott -> Well not being able to rev it over 5800RPM - actually more like 5500RPM to be safe kinda defeats the purpose of it really. Especially at a long straight track like Sandown.

I don't actually know if there would be any spots left anyway - I will enquire and see if there are any spare spots - if there is I might have a crack.

Not sure either, but you can do the Saturday, which is technically a practice day.... and skip sunday. But you have a month, put the call out and I bet you'll get your injectors, just a case of the tune, whether you can get dyno time and have the $$$

Let me know what what you decide, cause I'll definate come down for a look, and depending on the day might be able to lend a hand.

Did another track day today at Sandown, in Melbourne.

Things didn't go as smoothly as last time, although the rear brakes (braking system worked fantasic)

Firstly, I filled it with too much oil, so it pumped out what it didn't want through the catch can and made a bloody mess of things.

Next, 2 of the 4 bolts holding the turbo fell off because I didn't check them before racing. Replaced them and went out for another session only to have all 4 fall off, trouble selecting 2nd gear and a funny clunk when backing off.

So this meant I didn't get to race through till 4:00PM. I pulled the pin and stopped racing at 3:00pm instead. I wasn't prepared to risk it, seeings that I have a funny feeling it engine/gearbox mount related.

Having said that I got 5 20min sessions in, and that equated to about 150km's of racing. Which is heaps. So I was satisfied. THe guys I raced with (some friends from work) had a ball and we are gonna hopefully do another next month.

Callum turned up with his kickass camera and got some great shots ( which i'd like to grab at one point or another) I think he got one of me having a big off coming onto the front straight. The photo's looked alright through the LCD off the camera !! That actually happened quite a few time in the day. Lack of driver ability is the cause.

Anyway, when I get the photo's off Callum, ill post em.

I took a camera, and would you believe I didn't take one shot??!! What a dickhead. I was little busy trying to fix the shitheap, so yeah. Next time.

Anyway, it was heaps of fun and we are gonna plan another track day soon. Finances only allow me to do 1 a month on average, so we will see how it all goes.

Back to the shed............

Awesome stuff Darren, hope it's nothing too serious mate.
Be sure to throw those pix up when you can.

I'd love to get the pulsar to the track, but I want to get the front suspension sorted 1st. Which reminds me - must msg Shane...

There are heaps more, but this first one is so big, I thought not to put any more up.

This shows how NOT to come onto the main straight of Sandown in Melbourne. This happened a couple of times throughout the day due to lack of driver skill!!
