Engine Mods: RRC E15et. T25g turbo, 2.5;; dump pipe, 2.5'' zorst to the firewall, cannon muffler, Vr4 intercooler, 2'' piping to intercooler, 2.5'' piping intercooler to TB, Racepro BOV, GFB boost controller, pod filter.

Interior Mods: Custon Fiberglass/MDF sub box in boot. '85 Turbo rear seats & Blue/Black spec interior, custom fiperglass/mdf door speraker pods. N13 EXA arm rests. Boost gauge, Volt gauge, N13 EXA steering wheel, N13 EXA floor mats.

Exterior Mods: Glasurite 2 pak Yellow/Black 2 tone paint job.

Wheels: 13'' Polished Cheviot style Modgies

ICE: Custom MDF/Fiberglass sub boxes in the boot.
Xplod head unit
2x 12'' Xplod subs
soundstream 6'' speakers
panasonic 4'' speakers in behind dash

Future Plans: Purpose built drag car, front tube frame. Budgetless ground up rebuild with no expence ignored. 50K+ Engine rebuild. Custom LSD Gearbox. Custom design bodykit / one piece fiberglass front end. Custom DOHC head (big surpises here!). 17'' Volks. Fastest E15 of all time.

It all began on the 21st November 2004. I got this little gem from Putararu and drove it up to Auckland. I got it off a lady owner (hense the HEREXA #plates...)

Its come a long way in almost 2 years.

Here we go........ I got it in a dirty condition.. old starlet wheels and "HEREXA" P plates:p Its on its second engine, the 2nd one being the RRC E15ET. The turbo and manifold had been removed and replaced with NA headers when sold to me unfortunatly, but that was a good excuse to get it boosing again :)

The good old red top engine:D Fairly dirty, but it ran all good, even with the turbo removed on 7.4: compression. I ran an 18.051 1/4 mile in this form :p

The gearbox soon went byebye and that cost $1200 to get rebuilt with a new clutch and stuff.

I had a massive ordeal with breaking driveshafts for a while... But thats all good now. Stressfull stuff when its your daily driver!

In febuary my brother and i made a custom MDF and fiberglass sound install.
'
2x12'' sony xplod subs
xplod head unit
2x soundstream 6.5'' in the doors
2x tweaters in the doors
2x panasonic 4'' speakers
1x sony xm444 amp for the speakers
1x JBL gto 301.1 II 300w amp (dam it looks hot!!!)
Oh... and a Gtec

Door pods

Cut the pattern out of 9mm MDF and angled it how i wanted on the door trim.

Them fixed it in position with some mdf chocks and glue temporarily. next was to create a smooth curve to fiberglass over, pantehose worked well!:)

After that was sorted it was another dip into the fiberglass resen and cote of glass too stregnthen it up! with that done, a smoothing coat of bog and alot of sanding saw the pod taking shape...

Next step was trimming. We tried with a foam backing and a raised sillouette of an exa like on the club stickers...), but that didnt work and came up all bubbley. So off it all came to be redone with no foam or sillouette:( but it turned out good!

turned out nice:) and it is all able to be removed in less than 10mins for when i go to the drags:)

It was 306.6hp... but that was a photoshop i did to try ant trick some people:p

It will be way past that when i have a decent income. The plan is a front tube frame purpose built drag car.

I know these cars are capible of alot more power than people are currently getting out of them and i intent to explore this... Like a custom dohc head...

haha, na, i dont really wanna be portrayed as one of those dudes who claim HUGE figures but cant back it up...

My 14.687 @152.41 k's with about 100kw atw is good enough for me till the car comes off the road.

I also have a Milano X1 Turbo (Nissan Cherry) that will be my daily driver for when the exa is getting its drag build at the end of the year. Hopefully if comes off the road in the next few weeks!
