Its got no springs in the rear end :p

Its Kiwi Spec hard :P haha. The US Exas didn't have them in the guards from factory. Anyway, the front corner light in the bumper has an indicator anyway... thats enough to get through a warrant or fitness.

LOL, I thought it looked damn low...

Anyone know how much of a pain/expense it is to get a couple of guards shipped over?

Prolly easier just to patch the holes...

Very nice work guys. When you get it finished i'll fly over and come for a drive with you.

Hmm... half a year later... And now 2.5years without a drive!

Money is tight with paying off my new P12 Primera and having a recent dentist bill, but I have decided to get this thing racing by the end of the year! Plans are quite basic but i'll see where they take me.

Pull out the RRC and rip it apart
Image

Send the block away to get delt with, or maybe do a hone myself...
Install new bearings and high compression rods (shot peened maybe?)
Install ACL ceramic/teflon coated pistons
New HG on with standard RRC head after having both surfaces planed flat
Rebuilt box that the exa currently has on it
T25G turbo, IC, and basically a similar setup to what it used to have, just with partly new piping maybe and maybe i'll loose the BOV :P
2.5'' exhaust that is currently on the milano... shame its press bent :(
MEGI off the Milano to replace the jap spec... but that would need all new piping.
Image

There is some rust that i'll have to fix, but its not very major luckily but the screen will need to come out...

Then I'll fit the Work Equip 1 Wheels

Front coilovers and rear dobisport springs from the milano along with new rear shocks, also from the milano

Then i'll just try and take as much weight out of it as possible!!!

So unfortunately no 4WD for the time being... But thats shill the long term plan. However I'm hoping this build will get me re inspired and things will start to move a bit quicker in that direction!

Power target... im not to sure seeing as high compression hasn't been tried before, but I'll be happy with 130Kw on about 10psi maybe... In a car that should weigh 800kg it should be a flier!

I could get it going in a weekend if i wanted to bro... Just needs bits bolted back on really!

Turbo, intake, exhaust, rear calipers, starter motor, radiator... thats basically it... coilovers in and some springs in the rear and it should be able to get a WOF even!!! HAHA! But there is no point in bringing it back if it doesnt get improved on! As long as its gonna happen within the next 5 months i'll be happy!

Should be interesting for the Night Speed drag wars too :) Time to pull some 13's!
