nice car mate, im a fan.

with the injectors, unless your planning on running around 20psi i dont think its worth it. i used to have rx7 550cc injectors and it was a lot of stuffing around to fit them etc. your probably better of to just get some fj20et injectors which are 375cc or around that or some bosch 380's and maybe a malpassi.

good luck

Love the bonnet vents! Well positioned to try and get some of that second hand air from the cooler and radiator out of the bay... Ilike..

The whole car looks good.. Original ET shape on rims... just how I like them! ;)

Cheers

yeah, like how they're flush... (not sticking up) how did you finish the edges and what did you cut the holes with?

Thanks for the comments guys!!

I ended up sellin the injectors, Ive got enough power.. although if a set of CA's come along I'd drop em in, just for braggin rights. The coolers 450x300. I bought the car with the vents, if you lift your bonnet u'll see its the shape of the frame underneath! So I dont know how he did it.. but my m8s got a little nibbler thing that'll chew through metal, hooks up to an air compressor. or a little fret saw kinda thing maybe??

Now Ive lost reverse, and think maybe the gearbox is stuffed!! I got a spare, last resort to put it in its not great itself.'

Hey Guys,

For the people who dont know, im Adam, the previous owner of the ET. I built the car with the help of some very close friends.

The bonnet vents are from the under bonnet frame, they were cut with an airknife and then cleaned up with a file, and then the entire bonnet was re painted. I did it just before Autosalon back in 2001. The car has been in Hot4's and Autosalon. I owned it for 4 years and bought it stock.

Shane on these forums also knows alot about this car as he has seen it, shane and I are good friends and go back a few years.

Dont worry Sam I have had many of those yellow stickers, I have a collection of them here at home, at least you got a minor, I wish i was that lucky. And for EPA the microtech, cooler, and turbo will have to come off in order to pass. Also the exhaust will have to be quietened, as its over the limit by 4db.

And gearboxes....hmm I went through 5 of them.

Goodluck with it

Adam

P.S.- I also have more pics of the car if you want them
