How much thicker? cos it's changed from a 2 foot run, to a 3 or 4 meter run.

hey i just checked my relocation, (it was done before by a previous owner)

and the fat red wire runs through a little hole in the firewall just behind that engine mount shockie, but i didn't notice a fuse on the wire at all, and theres no grommet where it passes through the metal hole, so if it cut down the wire enuf, theres an arc welder right there, what kinda fuse should i be looking at installing, and what kinda places would sell em?

HOLY SHIT!

You will find the fuses and holders at Supercheap, Autobarn, anywhere really.

I have pix somewhere of the damage in my car from when the previous owner had it and it caught fire from exactly this.

Do it as soon as you can dude. I'd hate to see you get your car finished and then have it go up in smoke.

Something around 200A should be more than enough, Stinger should be OK, I can't for the life of me remember the brand of the ones I sell......

Whats PE Tube. Could you get away with venting the battery by using a sealed one or do you still need to vent it
