WILLOWBANK - The results are in!

Willowbank on Wednesday the 28th.
It's the first time I'm having a serious go at laying down a decent time and also the last time I'll be driving the pulsar for at least 2 years, so I'm going out with a bang. Probably quite literally haha.
So anyone who wants to come and watch or participate, here's the details:
Cost
■$40 to race, admits the entrant and one other.
■Spectators $20 adults, $18 students with ID
■Children 13 & under are free
Wednesday Events
■Gates open at 5.30pm and runs commence at 6pm
Car (slower than 10.99 sec) Requirements
■helmet to Standard
■long sleeve shirt
■long pants
■covered shoes & socks

not sure about who runs the Willowbank stuff, but generally (under CAMS) these need to be low/non-flammable, so cotton and wool is ok, polyester is out.

Good luck!! I feel like doing the same when i'm prepared to sell it.
Whats with the prices? $40 to race is cheap (its $50 here) but $20 to watch?? (I thought $15 was a lot)

they do specify it, but they dont really enforce it unless your running low ET's

unfortunately i'm going to have to give this one a miss, funds are a bit tight at the moment.

Got the car ready to run, removed 70kg, chocked the rear springs, fitted the slicks and dumped the exhaust. Car sounds like an absolute beast, I like it.
The weather is looking shithouse, so doubt it will be happening tonight. I'll see how it's looking in a couple hours, but I'm thinking Saturday or next Wednesday is the go.

The weather has cleared up enough, i hope. So i'm going for it.

Quick update before I go to bed. I am very pleased to say....
12.39 @ 110mph
I'm pretty knackered so I'll post more details tomorrow.
