Here's the deal:
Date: Sunday November 30 2008
Route: South Port -> Brisbane City -> Coolum Beach (Details below)
Meeting Point #1 = The spit in South Port at 9am (Leaving at 9.30am)
Meeting Point #2 = Milton Maccas at 10:15am (Leaving at 10:45am)
Meeting Point #3 = Morayfield BP at 11:45am (Leaving at 12:45pm)
End Point = Coolum Beach at 1:45pm!
Things You Need:
- Sunscreen
- UHF radio
- Camping Chair (Supercheap has best buy chair for $9.99 each)
- A bottle of water in your car just in case
- drinks for you too (dehydration is not fun!)
- money for petrol and lunch (or bring a packed lunch)
This cruise is a hoon-free cruise
We as a club currently have a very good reputation with the qld police.
We are seen as an enthusiast club, not just a bunch of hoons like a lot of other forum based clubs.
The reason we are trying to enforce good behaviour isn't to be dick heads or to ruin a fun day, it's to help retain this reputation and to keep everyone (including other road users) safe!
For this reason, if you drive dangerously on this cruise, you will not get your cruise legend point....
No one wants to be targeted because they have a nissanexa.com sticker on their car. At the moment, one of these stickers will make you look good in their eyes, not bad.
In a whole we are a very well behaved club, and I honestly do believe this reputation has been earned. So well done to the majority... lets keep it up
If you do want to go do something silly, please wait until the cruise is over and then go do it on private property.
Here's the directions:
Meet at the spit at 9am in the big carparks near the fish&chip shop:
Head off at 9:30am and drive from the spit to Milton Maccas:
Meet in the Milton Maccas back Carpark (or on the brewery road behind it) at 10:15am:
Head off at 10:45am and drive to Morayfield BP on the bruce hwy:
Meet in the Morayfield BP truck stop carpark at 11:45am
Have some lunch in the food court before heading off again at 12:45pm towards coolum beach:
Drive down David Low Way & turn right down Stumers Creek Rd and meet in the carpark at the end at 1.45pm
