MEETUP 8am SUNDAY 9th dec at maccas carpark at mitchelton (see areal photo below)
ROUTE
there will be regular stops along the way for foods/drinks breaks and to let the cars cool down and a game of cricket when we get to the dams....only catch is one of u guys will have to bring a bat and tennis ball
stop at mt nebo -jollies lookout for morn tea enjoy the view hang out in the carpark a bit have a drink or cake and haed on the trip
bbq lunch at kilcoy we will buy fresh snags n breag at the supermarket there and cooking fresh at the big park accross the road(so if everybody can put in a cpl $ for the snags and bread n sauce)
then cruise along through woodford and back over mt mee back into brisbane
plz remember u will need good brakes for the hill run over the mountains as last time i organised this run my brakes got burnt good and we had to stop at the bottom while waiting for 2 more cars stopped half way down becasue their brakes glazed over and need to cool down
just to give u guys a heads up hehe
so i need to know how many people can make themselves avail for this as i would like as many QLD members as possible to attent sorta an end of year cruise bash in the country lol
everybody will need a handhelp uhf radio as well so we can talk and whatnot without having to stop to have a group discussion
there will be a petrol stop before we go up the mountains at the start so u can fill up at a BP if u want otherwise there is a woolies servo on samford road just before osborne road turn off to maccas
just remember to brind handhelp uff radios so if there any probs with cars etc we can let each other know so we can hold up hehe ill have my tait2020 in my car by then so ill have 2 spare handhelds if anybody need to borrow, 1 radio/car will be enough
and of course cameras...must have cameras
someone needs to bring cricket bat n tennis ball
bring drinks for the rtoad between stops as the onlt shops we stop at are the servo at the beginning and the shops at kilcoy where we buy sausages n stuff for lunch so they r fresh and not half baked in the car already
as ive said times before, make sure u give ur car a bit of a service at least a week before the run esp coolant and brake fluid as they will be used a lot in the 1st half of the run when we tackle mt nebo/glorious, esp coming down the otherside of glorious its very steep and windy so is done safely at about 30-40km/h at the best of times usually in 2nd/3rd gear hehe
oh and dont forget to give it a wash the day before, we r on public display so we dont wanna look like the rat pack gemini club noe do we lol

ill be offline at the end of the week so ill check back next fri/sat to see how many people r gonna come
i will no longer have my Et then so ill be running the cruise from the recovery vehicle
4wd lol so if u can wait for me and not race ahead lolagain this is a serious cruise and we are on display to all of brisbane
so any speeding/drifting/hooning/etcetc will not be tolerated . fullstop .
