EOI bris cruise EARLY DEC

once i got my car on the road and pimpoed out with the interior im thinking of organising a cuise for the brisbane section of the club if any bodies interested

so sota just need to know how many peoeple are actually from brisbane area heeh

FYI the cruise will start at mitchelton and head over mt nebo and mt glorious (so make sure u got good brakes) and out through kilcoy and back throgh woodford and back to mt mee and back to brisbane

a good country run with a cpl nice mountain runs
i organised the same cruise for the exa club and got great reviews from the few who attended so am looking for doing a QLD cruise for this club hehe

so whoes interested? the dates will be confirmed later in time but will prob be about beginning -> mid dec to give u guys a time line unless i get my et on the road and pimped quicker

Yeah count me in.

I've been delaying the replacement of my blown exhaust manifold to turbo gasket since it's a prick to get to... but I guess this will give me a reason to get my arse into gear.

ill be going offline at end of nov/early dec when i move houe and will only be able to come on again if i go to mums or use an internet cafe porb once a week or so. so if i can get this all organised befor ehte nd of the month it would be cool

ive got the trip planned out already meet point will be the carpark behind maccas at mitchelton in the morning prob about 8-9ish

there will be a stop where we can stop n play a round of cricket if someone wants to bring along a tennis ball n bat

stop at mt nebo -jollies lookout for morn tea enjoy the view hang out in the carpark a bit have a drink or cake and haed on the trip

bbq lunch at kilcoy we will buy fresh snags n breag at the supermarket there and cooking fresh at the big park accross the road(so if everybody can put in a cpl $ for the snags and bread n sauce)

then cruise along through woodford and back over mt mee back into brisbane

plz remember u will need good breaks for the hill run over the mountains as last time i organised this run my brakes got burnt good and we had to stop at the bottom while waiting for 2 more cars stopped half way down becasue their brakes glazed over and need to cool down
just to give u guys a heads up hehe

i find that sundays are good for this drive so all i need to work out now is the final date for when my car will be ready
but as i said end of this month or early to mid dec

so i need to know how many people can make themselves avail for this as i would like as many QLD members as possible to attent sorta an end of year cruise bash in the country lol

everybody will need a handhelp uhf radio as well so we can talk and whatnot without having to stop to have a group discussion

there will be a petrol stop before we go up the mountains at the start so u can fill up at a BP if u want otherwise there is a woolies servo on samford road just before osborne road turn off to maccas

good news this cruise is coming closer to getting a set date thus far looking at 1st 2 weeks of dec, before u all go awy for xmas

How's the cruise plans coming along?

Can you make a new thread with an Itinerary of the meeting/ departure times and locations. Some maps with the route highlighted would be handy aswell.

Once it's done, I'll see if i can manage to make a link on n12turbo.com. The sooner things are planned and posted the bigger turn out you'll get.

yeah pretty much got the times and route worked out just gotta put a date yet, just waiting on the progress of my car hence the unknown dates as yet but as i siad im aiming for the 1st 2 weeks of dec, that will work wellfor me too as my wife will be back in the counrtry then so i can drag he along muhahahahaha and hopefully my interior makeover and headunit will be instalkled by then
