Nar, I was only going to go out if nismo85et, say g'day, check out his et and have a couple runs for something to do.

My times won't be any quicker, I haven't praticed my starts at all and I really need to go back to 70 series tyres to compare mph's with my previous runs.

Probs the beginning of March, the more notice gives people a chance to get their cars ready plus have time for the word to spread.

Also you'ld be more likely to get more people turning up to a saturday event... at least then you could meet up beforehand and not have to rush home from work wednesday arvo.

There isn't one on the 10th, so it will have to be the 17th.

This is what the plan was last time:

2:45pm - Meet at Goodna McDonalds car park for a brief introduction/chat
3:15pm - Depart McDonalds travel as a group to Willowbank Raceway.
3:45-4:00pm - Arrive at Willowbank Raceway. Cruise participants can choose to either race or watch at own discretion.

Gates open at 4pm, runs at 4.30.

Racers need - helmet to Australian Standards, long sleeve shirt, long pants & covered shoes.

Cost

$36 to race, admits the driver and one other.
Spectators $18 adults, $16 students with ID
Children 13 & under are free.

What do you reckon?

Wow $36 to race including one other? Thats the same cost as two spectators so you'd be mad not to race!

Over here its a bit cheaper to spectate ($15 adults) but racing is $45 for only one person!

$45 is a bit steep considering you can't take a mate with you.

The details have been added to the first post of the thread. Hopefully we get a good turnout.

Yup especially since it was $35 last season and its now busier than ever. They generally fill up to the 160car limit (with bikes as well). You end up getting about 5 runs at most. So $10 a run, its not cheap really. It should be subsidised by the government to reduce racing on the street.

I'll be at Macca's to say hi. A mate has a video camera so we might go along and get some video.
