So I need a new clutch : /

Post by Kimmo »

Back when I resurrected the traffic slicer, I threw a standard clutch in it, which was always a bit marginal; it'd slip some on full boost occasionally. Now I can't give it any stick without slippage, pretty sucky.

I don't suppose I can adjust it somehow... the cable isn't too tight, I gather.

So, what are my options for a replacement? Is there something a bit beefier that isn't ridiculously stiff? My knees aren't what they used to be, and I use my clutch a lot (as a cyclist, I like to freewheel).

Im using a F1 Racing stage 2 organic clutch.
Its lighter pedal than stock and holds onto around 140Kw. Ex USA tho from GripForce Clutches but keenly priced.

There are plenty of clutche kits around off the shelf tho to suit you. Exedy HD organic holds up nicely.
NPC make a very respected tough organic and if you want the rolls Royce of tough organics then get Jim Berry (Race Clutch) to build you one but by christ youll pay for it!!!!!!!
Jims quality doesnt come cheap!!!

E15et clutch is 200mm and the same as any E16 so thee are a few options apart from stock replacement.
