Rear wing troubles

Post by AntsET »

Hi guys,
I have been stripping the outside of my car to start on the prep work for painting my car.
When i was removing the rear wing (on the hatch) and got a nasty surprise!!!
RUST flakes fell out everywhere! I thought that my hatch was rusted but it turns out that the wing has metal sheet metal that was rusted out.
Is it possible to get a new rear wing? I was even thinking of making one out of fiberglass, but I'd rather keep my car original if possible.
Has anyone experienced this before?

Its a very common issue. Try and source a 2nd hand wing

Ill see if I can remove the sheet metal from inside the wing and fabricate a new one.
