Post by boosted »

hi,
the fiberboard of my door panel is in pretty bad shape.
has anyone tried to transfer the upholstery to a new piece of fiberboard?

thanks in advance

i wanted to know if it was feasible to remove the upholstery from the fiberboard without destroying it.
if there is a great chance of destroying it, i would stick with the old one and try to reinforce it.

should be right, just peel the outter edges, and use a paint scrapper to gently separate any stubborn bits in the middle
