INJECTORS - Am I paying too much??

Post by AntsET »

Hello boost junkies,
I am trying to purchase some 450cc injectors for my n12 Et turbo.
I live in victoria and gave powerflow performance a call to see what the damage would be. He said he has the hose-tail injectors (Bosch new old stock) and quoted me $145 each!! Is this right or is he trying to rip me off?
All I want is around 160kw's atw's with my T28, is there a cheaper option?
I tried the O-ring type injector with the adapter kit but there's not enough room for them to fit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

From the other post, get a set of bosch 015s, 024s or 036s. Find a Volvo wrecker (Volvo 144/164) and you could possibly get them for $100 for the set. The electrical plug is slightly different, but a light massage of the stock electrical plugs will have them fit.

Something like this:http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/MERCEDES-FUE ... 3a89d6baee

If you still have dramas finding them, I think I have a set of 024's kicking around which I was intending to use in a RB30 at some stage.

I've got the id725s and they've been great idles nice and happily.
Though the PITA of making the retainers would put me off it.

Thanks for the input guys.
I finally found the injectors I want.
380cc Bosch injectors that connect straight to the standard loom and only need some fuel hose to fit them up.
Should be plenty enough fuel for the T28.
Should be able to get 150-160kws out of them.
I bought 4 of them for $280 delivered from Canada.
They are a flow-matched set and apparently they're developed specifically for the ET Engine.
Can't wait to receive them in the mail! EXCITED!
