Shock thrust seat

Anyone know if you can buy individual parts for shocks? it appears the thrust seat on my f/l has gone so theres play in it. I was told id have to buy a whole strut

afraid so mate anyway you better off in the long run you can get gabreils for around $130 a strut shit but they do the job on a daily or koni inserts for around $220 a piece

Ah gutted, I really dont want to splash out on a new strut because Im trying to sell my my.
