Standard ECU works with 36psi base pressure (0 manifold vac) regardless of how much boost you run. The only reason you would not use 36psi is if you are trying to make the ECU something that it shouldn't do!
Just make sure the gauge is accurate.

Fuel pressure is regulated by the reg, so whatever it is rated or set at will be what it runs. If you want to set your adjustable reg to the the same pressure, you must check what the fuel pressure is with the current one. If it is a stocko undamaged Nissan E15ET reg, it will be 36psi base.
To check it, you will need to place the pressure guage inline with the fuel supply line from the tank, or anywhere you can before the regulator.

Naw, coz the regulator is the final restriction in the system which creates the pressure.
After the regularl is just return to tank and at more or less ambiant air pressure.

Once that becomes clear, the same analogy can be seen with a turbo. The turbo doesn't make boost, the engine restricting airflow from the turbo makes boost!
