what color for the grill & Pumped guards "so worth

Post by Valentich »

Just looking at the guards
And put the inner guard in to have a look.

You can really see how much difference it makes.
The wheel rubs on the inner.

Well worth doing it....
Tones of extra room for more rubber.
That is lowered with 16"s

A reminder of how the prairie looked before... NO NO it not that ugly... Right

Anyway.... I am finishing the front....
and am looking at painting the grill...
so what color, it's a thing for me.
Cant imagine it black or white looking good.
I photoshoped both black and white.
and did not like either...
Any suggestions.

You think that all white would be the go...
But when I look at it in real life.....I dont Know.....
I'm 60/40 go white .... but then
And then once its painted, I'll live with it if I don't like it just not to do it again LOL
It goes grey black grey white... But does not help me

Do it white, having the front the same colour will make it look more modern.

gloss black like my unmodern Golf R!

Actually both could work, you could even to some pin stripes that change the appearance to the eye.

Big difference between "More modern" and "Modern". :D I don't think there is much that can be done visually to anything early Jap 80's to make them look modern.

Yep... made them....
It was pretty easy,
though time consuming.....

If you go to my build you can see some photos of them in the early stage,
in primer, before I removed the repeater.

and yes, they are metal...
