small intercooler

Post by grunertee »

Do someone know if there is small enough intercoolers in some car models which fit to the right side of the hood lock support rod of N12/b11 between front mask and radiator. It has been difficult to find a universal one that is suitable.

the front mount small intercoolers that sr20/ca18 silvia/180sx/200sx' run could work. also come off of skylines, they are all intercooled with small coolers mounted underneath a headlight. check em out

I would think! if I read this right,
that Nissan (Jap Imports) are not that common,
that is if you are in Finland. so, I would look at Golf/Audi...
I understand that a SAAB 9000 turbo has a good one,
I think a few people have used them as an upgrade....
I dont know if it would fit in, but worth a look.
Good luck

I understand the need for conformity. Without a concise set of rules to follow we would probably all have to resort to common sense.

In Finland a Saab 900 (up to -93) intercooler should be easy to find, about as big as a s13 IC and can be found with plastic and aluminium sides.

It's not just as simple as putting a s4 rx7 intercooler on the et. You need to modify one side as it is facing the rear of the car, when the other side is what you can see.

I have an already custom rx7 intercooler ready for this style application.

Happy to send overseas

Cheers,
Dex

If you search for my old EXA on here (cbf'd atm) you'll see I had fitted a 300zx TT cooler (not sure if it was a left or right one but I'm sure can be figured out). Compact, cheap, minimal piping and not much stuffing around. Came on boost very quickly.
