Will this clutch fit my E15ET?

Post by TurboZ.Dude »

It seems to fit the GA16DE and according to several sources I found using Google, GA16DE has the same clutch assembly as the E15ET. Is this correct?

FYI this specific clutch model was recommended by my boss who is an automotive engineer by trade (he runs several modified cars).

I think it'd be a WOFTAM to put an expensive clutch assembly like this in a stock-spec E15ET... but after a few upgrades I may want to upgrade the clutch.

Yes. Thats clutch will fit. Its a 200mm clutch.
NA's have a smaller 180mm unit
However, Centerforce stuff is pretty high end and unless you intend to boost the shit out of it then its overkill.

Thanks m8! It's good to know which engines share the same clutch setup with the E15ET.

I did expect this one to be slight overkill, but major overkill... oh well. I'll take your advice and stay away from clutches like this unless I start boosting the shit out of the engine. 8)

I got a Xtremeclutch Xtra-heavy duty clutch kit and guess this also is a bit overkill?
When I bought it many many years ago (still to be fitted) I planned to run my old Cherry turbo as a dragrace/streetrace car and wanted a powerful clutch but now I only plan on 160 - 200hp and only street use.

I'd use it rather than buying another one, but I am a little bias.
