Need help to find shocks to my 86' Cherry GTT

I'm having trouble finding shocks to mye car. Nissan in Norway dosent make them any more, and aftermarket parts dosent exist.

what to do?

well look outside of your country and ship them to you.

Unless you can find another car that has the same..

Monroe gas-shocks are the way to go! 220 euro for front an rear and GREAT ride quiality!

Munroe, yuk - not a fan.

Take the front struts to a Bilstein or Koni dealer and they should be able to find the right diameter inserts, modify the legs and your done (check the articles section for more details....http://forum.n12turbo.com/viewtopic.php?t=4415)

That write up on changing to gas struts is good!
One question... Whats the reason your not into munroe gas struts?

I've never found their quality to be very good. A while ago a friend put them into a VK Comode and they lasted less than 6 months....I guess you get what you pay for.

Well, i also wouldn't recommened the oil-shocks. That are the standard after-markets for our Cherry. The gas-shocks are under my second N12 now for 10 years and they are still perfect and the ride is very good!
