steering rack

how can i tll what type of steering rack i have? i went to order new rack ends today and was told there were two different types, any way to tell which is which ?

does anyone know at all ? because i dont have a second car to get around in while mine is in pieces, i need to know what part to order so i can pick it up before working on it.

if anyone can tell me how to tell the difference between the different steering rack ends you can get, for an 84 ET, it would be appreciated

i had this issue i looked up the parts books and there is two racks listed it will either be a trw rack or not
