leaning out problem

hey guys just wanted to know ive put an PLX WIDEBAND GAUGE for afr but the car runs rich on idle and then ok when cruising but it leans out on boost can anyone suggest anything thanks ziddy

I'd start with checking fuel pressure and flow as per the workshop manual.

Then I'd replace the fuel filter and check it again.

Once you know this information you can make a decision.

but can it be the fuel pump nakerd not seding fuel properly on boost??????

if you are running alot of boost and bigger injectors, there is a chance your pump just cant keep up

I'd be checking to see if you have a manifold reference at the fuel pressure reg. ie, no pressure line hooked up to the reg. If it isn't there, it will run uber rich on vac, fine at 0 manifold vac and lean on boost.
