Hey guys, just after some different ways of mounting the accelerator cable bracket after log removal? what is the most popular option

the piece of the log where the accelerator cable bracket mounts to, just trim that down to bare essentials, and vwaalaa....... this is the best option as you will need to block off the water gallerys that run through the manifold anyway.

I can remember having this problem too. The easiest was of doing it is taking 2 original brackets (one should already be bolted to the intake runners is i remember correctly, and the other is the original acc cable bracket) and drilling a hole through one of them so they can be mounted together with a nut and bolt.

It was years ago that I did it, but it gave a perfect position.

thanks guys, i ended up cutting the section of the log with the mounting position off, polished it up, and bolted it in, dont know why i hadnt thought of it earlier, cheers

I just extended the existing cable bracket.
Errrmm its pretty easy.

It doesn't get any simpler than an 'L' bracket mounted to one of the throttle body bolts.
