fond these on ebay cheep way of doing it but has anyone seen them used or know anything about them

Thats old stuff M8.
Nothing special.
Just some threaded tube which is slipped over the shock tube and welded into position and a couple of "C" nuts to adjust spring height.

Commonplace and easy to do.
Kings make a range of springs in their "Race Series" with various internal diameters and lengths to suit.

Did this years ago on my first race car with a set of Koni shocks.

IF you want I have a set that suits under the house with springs....I'll sell 'em to you for less than the ebay ones...I bought them a while back and never got to installing them.

ohh, there is two tube sizes for the et/exa...If I remember correctly these are for the larger one. I think this article has details....
