Do i need to buy new botls or modify something or is there just no way for this black cover to go on?

Thanks in Advance.

hey mate on the rrc motor the bolts for the rocker cover are into their own hole rather than holding the rockers down. so you would need to tap some holes to make it work

i think he means the aus spec fits over the studs and bolts down while the jap spec you need to bolt down the cover, if they line up but are just too big then just drill them out ;)

on my motor where the red dots are there is bolt holes. so to fit your new cover you would need to drill holes here and get longer bolts.
hope this helps

what the cover come off in the first place e16 or red rock
and yes it easy to drill new hole just make sure you mark this out in the rite place \put a bit of paint on top of the bolts and place the rocker cover on top as strait as you can you should get two paint dots drill and you should be rite but then you gotta plug the other two holes in the end be easier to get one that do fit lest fckin around

I would not drill and tap unless you plan to remove the head. You should be able to make a plate say 10 mm thick drill old hole and new hole then weld or lock in the studs that hold the rocker cover on to the new hole. Get some high tensile bolts to hold rocker arms to the head ( original holes) You may need to cut the thread 10 mm due to adding it with the plate for the studs and add 10 for the new bolts being used on the rocker arm holes

hi,
sorry for OT, but im interested in the injector connectors spring clip.
they seem to differ from the e15et-ones i know (those that are a b!tch to get off).
where are they from?

quick question, nice setup you have there. i see you have the idle control sensors fitted to the jap intake. the sensor to the right of the idle control sensors is that the cold air sensor? if so where did you get it???

The connectors are just gm style quick release they sell them over here for a few dollars each from fuel injection places.

As for the other valve they are stadard on jap spec manifold. I just got rid of one as I have the vl valve and a microtech, which will be enough. Just block it off.

I have left a message on his mobile but last I heard he in QLD so maybe his mobile got washed away..

I have a mate who has some 5-6mm thick stainless plate and is bending and cutting some adaptor plates .

That way I will still be able to use the original bolts to hold down the cover.

So I will post pics as soon as I get them in my hands and holes drilled.

Main thing is that I DO NOT want to do anything that can not be undone and put back to std form...
