Trust me, you'll shit it in. I had NFI what I was doing either, but it really is a no-brainer.

Not sure, but you might even be able to get away without rotating the battery... if so, it's as simple as freeing the AFM wires from the loom, making up a jigger to plumb some hose (the bit that normally goes into the stock elbow, plus a hose to the blocked-off log) in between the turbs and AFM, whack a pod on and you're set.

Seriously, man up and do it, dude. Feel the empowerment of DIY FTW.

Ok Ok, you convinced me, i'm going to do it. But i have read the How Too many times and know what has to be done, the only thing that i need to know is, where the vacuum line goes from the passenger side of the log to in between the turbo and AFM how have people put a fitting in there? In the how to he has got a Tee welded in, is there any other way to do this?

It seemed like the easiest way to me... I just got a brass barb and had a guy at an exhaust shop braze it onto a little bit of steel pipe.

Don't know if I'd go that far but the second pic does show a nice neat way to block off the log. Just throwing ideas around.

Obviously I wouldn't recommend buying parts that you already have.
Would be a waste indeed.

The idea and pictures are worth the $50, but you can get then from free.

Sif use the whole log anyway.

You only need the bit the valves bolt up to...

cut a square section out the back of the top half of the plenum and get that piece with the idle valves welded in or, cut the top half of the plenum off and match cut on the log, cap one end and throttle body on the other and use the log with the idle valve as a side mounted entry plenum
