Hey everyone, just checking if anyone has had a problem where the fuel flap cable doesn't work? My hatch release cable works fine, but not for the fuel flap.
From what I can gather from ripping off the interior panels, there is 1 cable that operates from the (push/pull) lever, this runs down the car to a pivot mounted near the drivers side rear speaker, this pivot then runs 2 cables - 1 for the hatch and one for the fuel flap.
I can see that the cable is all mounted to the fuel flap release catch all properly and I've tested it by pulling the cable, but because the lever is pushed (instead of pulled) for the fuel flap, how can this actuate the pivot (by pushing a cable, not pulling)??
Am I missing something or going insane? lol
Any help be much appreciated.
Cheers.
