CAR SURGES WHEN BOV IS CONNECTED ANY HELP GUYS ?

how are uj going when i connect my bov the car surges or hunters like idel drops then goes up but when i disconnet it car idel really good like normall

the bov is a monza black 8888 think thats the model

where did you get the vaccuum source from? Could be stuffing it up. Also does the BOV open at all when you connect it. the AFM wont like that.

how are u going i got the vacume sorce from the throdle body the one that goes to the black canaster

the bov opens and closes

should i get a turbosmart

last et i had put turbo smart and worked good

that model bov has a week spring load in it, i had that on one of my cars and ended up on the shelf as a paper weight lol it did the exact same thing, you can use washers to build a block plate on the inside of the bov to stiffen the spring load but best bet would be ebay it and use the money on another bov thats all i did

now i know somone else had that prob now i know there is nothing wrong with the car cheers
