car revs ok on idel when driving gets up to speed slow ?

how are u going i have a 86 pulsar turbo high mount with t25 turbo

idel fine !

when i drive the car it takes ages to get up to speed and wont wev over 4000 rpm

flames come out of side of exgaust madifold

also had to advance timing all the way or it sounds like a mower

when idel somtimes it makes exgaust pops

in conclusing it sounds like its running on 3 cyls when driving but when ideling it idel fine

Sorry did you say Flames come out of the manifold? as in where gasket sits?

sounding like a mower? either you have one dead cylinder or blown head gasket.

flames coming out is unburnt fuel so it cound be faulty plugs, ignition leads or distubuator.

are there any blue or white smoke coming out the back of your exhaust?

how are u going thanks for help fount out that 2 leads were dead and needed a new manafiold gasket motor runs good but still have a few problems

could be condensation (cold starts) or you have a blown/leaky head gasket.

has your excess coolant reservoir been over flowing lately?

check the level of coolant in your radiator, has it gone down?

if your answer is yes to both, it is possible your head gasket is blown

how are you the reserve tank stays where its meant to be and so does the radiator dosent use water at all

smoke seems to go up in the air

also notice smoke when i boost but then ocasionally it stops

i have discoverd that the oil seal has gone in the turbo so i have orded a turbo rebuild kit hope this gets rid of the smoke i will keep ya updated
