hey guys just wondering about the early microtechs like the digi 1 n 2 s... and the microtech D4s. which of the ones are the best 2 use?? as im thinking of putting one in my brothers ET and iv had a look at the wiring what triggers these ecu's 2 deliver fuel?? looks 2 me it triggers off the coil??

any info about these ecu's will be gr8 thanks guys

Andrew - The standard Digi's do fuel only as far as I know. I had a Digi 1+ which did fuel and ignition. It's was not quite as useful/configurable on the ET as a later model microtech - but near enough to it for what I wanted it to do. For example, it had grouped injection only, not sequential. I THINK it had a limit of 20psi as well as opposed to the standard 25psi microtech limit. Also, it could only control a single coil as opposed to multiple coils. But, it was a good overall unit and would be great for a mildly modded ET.

I think a D4 would be a pain to use and wouldn't have the resolution of other microtechs...but I haven't actually used one.
