Bollocks.

Thats the same bollocks that manufacturers would have you believe that you MUST have an aluminium radiator because its lighter and cools better.....bollocks.
An ally radiator is 30% LESS efficient than an equivalent size and volume copper radiator.

The ally tube is usually much thicker than mild steel pipe and when you compare the two materials and the difference in weight you come up with half a kilo or so and then you go and shoehorn in a fucking 15" sub, 2 x 6 x 9's along with a balls out amp package and add 20 extra kilos anyway!!!!!!!!

The only real advantage of ally is it can look "cool"!!!!! (no pun)

Come on fellas

Every material gives off and absorbs heat (energy) at a particular rate (for that material), the less mass of material you have the quicker it will return to ambiant temp. Get a flick of boiling oil on your skin from a fry pan, and it will be lucky to leave a mark. Pour a litre of the stuff over your arm and you will know the difference in a heart beat. Same with the aluminuim, there is so little mass in the foil, that its stored heat goes from 200 to zero quicker than you can blink. Stick the whole fricken roll in there for ten mins, then grab hold of it for that 'I told you so' moment.

I've decided I may go topmount style if the thing doesnt fit coz i just found out i have an air conditioning condenser in front of my radiator. Not much space. I have no idea. Top mount piping would be so much cheaper too.
