New ashford racing built big HP N12 EXA from Brisbane?

Post by psi999 »

So who knows anything about it?..... I had my skyline off at my exhaust shop getting a 4" dump pipe fitted and noticed it sitting off to the side.

As far as I was told the engine has been built by Ashfords, and its getting the works (custom manifold, GT30, FMIC etc)... appeared to have N13 front hubs /axles and an N12/3 box.

Was told the owners (two blokes apparently) are hoping to have it at the Jamboree this weekend.

So who can tell me more?

Well i dont know about it but it sounds very interesting. Will be good too hear how it goes. Anyone know how hard the n13 hub and drive shaft swap is? I have a whole n13 here. Could then also bolt GTir Brakes on or at least SSS brakes.

I've heard the whole N13 brake upgradeis possible, but it's a pig to do.
However, if it gets done enough surely there'd be a kit.

I'll be out at the jamboree this year mate, I'll keep an eye out for it. I've heard a little bit about the motor but not too much. Who else is going jamboree???

The title says it's an Exa, should have been an ET though.
