Adding Central locking, keyless entry + immobiliser?

Post by Rzeractor »

Can anyone point me in the right direction about doing this?
I've seen immobiliser kits off ebay such as This one. Are these any good? They say that it can activate keyless entry aswell, but will keyless entry work if I get a central locking kit from like Jaycar and use that? Ta.

I got an alarm/immobilizer kit off e-bay and a central locking kit off e-bay and the alarm will trigger the locks.
Just as long as your immobilizer has output triggers it's all good.

i got a pyle remote start 2way alarm immobiliser turbo timer and dishwasher still to be put on my car, and i installed 4 door central locking. the alarm is supposed to hook up to central locking but i havent tried yet coz the alarm is still in it's bloody box! i think most alarms hook up to central locking and remote activate it. you should be fine.

1st, you'll need to read the instructions. The alarm will have a trigger wire and you'll need to know which one it is. This will be connected to the trigger input on the master door lock, or the control module, depending on whick you have.

 I should have put, read the pictures! ha ha ha
All you need is the wiring diagram, that shows what color has which function.
The rest is a waste of paper.
