Fuel light not working

Seems my fuel light isn't working at all. I've let the car run dry once and it didn't come on. Anyone know what could be the problem?

checked the globe isnt blown?

It will be the globe dude. Pull the cluster out and take a look. It should cost you $2 for a new one.

After you let it run dry, did you need to change the fuel pump also. Cause submerged fuel pumps dont like to run dry!!
