Alternater wires

Does anyone now what the black with yellow striped wire does that runs in the loom to the alternater??

Is it a power or earth for the starter motor. what does it do, was never hooked up but now im burning out earths, one in the back of the dash and one at the plug of computer (wolf3D) for the distributer??

Whoah you have serious issues M8
yep, its the pull in wire for the starter and should only see power with the key in the run position.

Dont power the thing up again untill you trace the shorted wiring.

errrr .....well the wire "pulls in" the starter.

It connects to the starter solenoid and also makes its way to the stock ECU.

OK,, the wire was never hooked up but, now ive got drama wid no spark and the way the dissy is hooked up i dont know if its right, but it was running....?

Yer by pull in wire he means that its just 12v the switches the starter on. U have a serious wiring problem, be very careful you dont break your wolf, you may have already...
