Getting my box reco'd cost me $1200. That included a new standard spec clutch. Wasnt a full recon but they did pull it all apart and check it all. Expencive stuff!

For the engine, it depends if you want it ren'd to factory specs or not... 2K-3K possibly...

i jsut got 2 gboxes recoed and onp pulled out and put in my car. cost me $850 for a full reco, new barings,de-glased every thing and shined up the spider gears in the diff to make it not so much a open center diff,

and it cost me $560 to get another box rebuilt the same as the otehr one
that is a very cheap price cause i know the owners

Im currently rebuilding my gearbox myself, at the moment ive just pulled it out and have ordered a full rebuilt kit. Ive got a 4.11 crown wheel ready and im sending the diff away to get an lsd put into it. Also isotropically finishing all the gears.... they end up looking like this.

man that site doesnt tell ya shit realy. the links to diffrent things dont work. but they look wicked non the less. but how does a highley machined crown and pinnion wheel make it stronger. it will make it smother in opperation but i dont see how it would be a benifit on a diff, on the crank and shit like that it would be wicked tho.

how much it cost u for the crown and pinnion wheel

Why dont you take your old ones down to a friendly gear machinist and have him machine you some out of the right material.

Same for the shafts and gearsets if ur desperate for that frikken whine!

Show them the colour of your money first tho! All due respect dude but if you have to ask how much the job will be then you most probably cannot afford it.

Easy!

well seeing as i had the money to for out almost 5k for a dog box for my et then i dont see how i cant afford it

and the reason i was asking is cause the site dosent tell u squat about the process.

as far as machinist go. that was my next option but as i was runnign out of time and needed the car i just rebuilt my box.

the first 3 letters of assumed are ass so dont make a ass of ya self and assume
