Block the water galleries off on the inlet. Not needed at all. You would have done better to ditch the Solexes off for either a pair of 45mm SU's or a set of 2, or even 4 motorcycle CD carbs off something like a Gixxer1100 or even a pair of CD carbs off something like a KLR650 or the like.
