Hit the ecu pins and ecu plugs with a bit of compressed air to clean the contact spray off and see how it goes

i tell you one thing tho, when my ET was in a prang i had to wait for the rear quater panels to be shipped in from japan as the penis beaters couldn't not get it any where in aus

ill pick up a gearbox for it soon and look at putting it in after i move house. i have a block and tackle handy to hang the engine with box in place, then ill make up some mounts

well i have a lt10s with x4 works awesome for me, easy to install and tune engine responds really well, really smooth on & off boost. only downside i find with them is they come with a 20psi map, upgradable but then it needs a re-tune

also depends on where Ur getting it tuned, most tuners stick to certain ecus

cheers for your input E & D :D the box was a fair bit on the WTF side after not driving an ET for 3years, first and second gears were fukd changing into 3rd before or just after 100kph and remembering that i used to push almost 120 - 130kph in second in my silver et... would this box affect tota...

I gently took off from standstill in first through second, plonked it into 3 at less than 2000rpm, brought it upto full boost and that was where it was making max torque without shedding any through wheelspin. none of the above E, was just a easy take off in first off the lights eased into second then foot down and full noise (screamer pipe between buildings is awsome) and bang she went, no clutch kicking which i like to do, just pedal straight to the floor... now with the box apart i was lead to believe ...
