it's silly how if you have a 4 speed gearbox with a 6 speed gear pattern somewhere in the car it's all good...

really..... if someone hops in your car and needs to look at the stick to figure out where the gears are, chances are they won't be able to use the clutch anyway!

It's probably easier to pull the cable out of the casing and push a new one through rather than pulling out the whole assembly.
If you need a new cable let me know, i've got one here.
